Muri isn't chasing a fake red wine here. What it goes after is the red wine moment, meaning dark fruit, real acidity, tannin and a finish that lasts long enough to matter. The build starts with red currant and blackcurrant juice, then brings in chamomile, fig leaf, pine needles and wheat malt, all of it fermented rather than simply flavored. That malt is why the bottle contains gluten. Bitterness and tannin are doing structural work rather than decorative work, which is what keeps the whole thing savoury instead of sweet. Expect ripe dark berry first, then earth and a little spice, a full palate with genuine weight, and a dry finish that keeps going. Serve it in a proper wine glass and give it a minute to open up. It belongs with food and slow evenings: roasted vegetables, mushrooms, anything off the grill, sauces with depth behind them. 750ml, under 0.5% ABV.
