Most alcohol-free white wine errs sweet, because sugar is the easy way to fill the hole that alcohol leaves behind. Surely's Sauvignon Blanc goes the other way and stays dry. It's citrus-forward with soft pear and sweet apple sitting underneath, and it's the acid rather than residual sugar that carries the glass. The fruit comes off the warm, breezy California coast and gets fermented into real wine before the alcohol is taken back out, with a little peach concentrate and gum arabic added for body. A serving lands at 20 calories with 2 grams of sugar, in a standard 750ml bottle. Serve it properly cold. It does what a Sauvignon Blanc normally does at the table, so salads, roast chicken and goat cheese, and it stands up to heat better than you'd expect, which makes it a fair pour next to a curry or a bowl of noodles.
