Coastal Spritz

Blood orange, sea rosemary and oakwood are blended into Pentire's signature distilled coastal botanicals here, which pushes this bottle toward the bittersweet end of the range. It is the closest thing Pentire makes to an Italian aperitivo, balancing natural bitterness against the fresh, saline character that runs through Adrift and Seaward. Bitterness is the part most alcohol-free spritz bottles miss, since sugar is the easy shortcut and it flattens everything. This one keeps the dryness, which is why it holds up over a long evening instead of turning cloying by the second glass. Pour it over plenty of ice, top with soda or a light tonic, and finish with an orange slice. It comes in a 70cl bottle. If you already drink Adrift, this is the one to open when you want something darker.
