Margi Spritz

Part of the Cantina Spritz Collection, made with Australian homewares label Jones and Co, whose artwork supplies the Mexican cantina look on the bottle. Inside is a sparkling margarita: lime zing over a tequila flavour, with grapefruit and passionfruit opening and finger lime and yuzu filling in the citrus. The ingredient list runs close to Monday's Paloma, so expect a similar backbone with the lime pushed further forward. Natural bitters drawn from orange oil, cinnamon, cassia, cardamom, nutmeg, clove and ginger keep the finish from going flat and sweet. As with the rest of the range, it is distilled botanicals and extracts in carbonated Australian spring water, sweetened with stevia, and therefore sugar free, alcohol free and gluten free. Sold by the four, eight or 24 bottles. Salt the rim yourself if you want the full margarita effect, because the drink does not bring any.
