Lemon sherbet, essentially, and it does not pretend otherwise. Amalfi lemon zest carries the top, sherbet sweetness fills the middle, and a genuinely tart finish stops it collapsing into lemonade. The reference point Monday gives is vodka, which mostly means the flavour is clean and the citrus has nowhere to hide behind. This one came out of a collaboration with Wandering Folk, an Australian label, and it is the summer bottle in the range. Same construction as the rest, with carbonated Australian spring water carrying distilled botanicals and extracts, sweetened with stevia so it stays sugar free, alcohol free and gluten free with no artificial flavours. Four, eight and 24 bottle packs. Pour it into a tumbler over a lot of ice with a lemon wheel and drink it fast, because it goes soft as it warms. Uncomplicated, and best on a hot afternoon.
