Sober White

Two litres in a box, drinkable for up to 30 days once opened. That's the practical case for Vintense's Sober White, and it matters more here than it does for regular wine, since nobody wants to commit to finishing a bottle of alcohol-free white in one evening just to avoid wasting it. The wine is pale yellow with green highlights and reads as a Sauvignon in character. Lemon and pink grapefruit on the nose with a herbaceous touch, then a supple palate carrying fresh lemon and elderflower into a sweet finish. Serve it well chilled, 8 to 10 degrees, as an aperitif or with hummus, tomato and mozzarella. It's a true 0.0%, vegan, gluten free and fine during pregnancy, at roughly 15 calories per 100ml.
