Juniper hits first here and never really lets go. Smiling Wolf built its alcohol-free gin around six botanicals, with juniper leading and pink peppercorn, lemon zest, coriander seed, angelica root and cardamom filling in behind it. There's a real spice note through the middle before the finish turns light and citrus zesty, and that structure is what lets it cut through tonic instead of vanishing into it. Plenty of alcohol-free gins go limp the moment a mixer arrives. This one holds its shape in a G&T and in the classics built on it. Like the rest of the London brand's range, Botanical is distilled from the same ingredients used to make real spirits and lands at 0.5% ABV. Each bottle carries the house Feel Good blend of natural nootropics and B vitamins, aimed at relaxation and smooth energy rather than intoxication.
