Botanical Blend

The straight gin alternative in the Fluère range, and the most conventional bottle they make, which is the point of it. Coriander seed and lime peel give a bright, zesty nose, while lavender and juniper fill in the herbal and floral middle. Put it in a tall glass with good tonic and plenty of ice and it does what a gin and tonic is supposed to do, with enough juniper to taste like a deliberate drink rather than a compromise. The method behind it is unusual for the category. Each botanical is distilled on its own in Amsterdam using hydro steam distillation, and only then are the distillates blended, which gives real control over how loud any single botanical gets. Sealed bottles are tunnel pasteurised and keep about two years.
