Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. is a creative Connecticut craft beer brand that began in 2016 as a seasonal homestead brewery in East Hampton, originally brewing small-batch, high-quality beers out of a barn and named after the owners’ beloved orange cat. Today its beers, including hazy New England IPAs and other inventive styles, are contract-brewed through the Twelve Percent Beer Project in North Haven to reach a broader audience while maintaining a playful, community-driven spirit and a reputation for flavorful, eye-catching brews.
