Rebel Coast started out making conventional wine in California in 2012, then put a cannabis-infused sauvignon blanc on the market in 2017. The seltzers came later and are a much simpler proposition. Sparkling water, fruit flavour and THC, with nothing else taking up room in the can. Black cherry is the darker of the two berry options and carries the extract well. Each 12 ounce can holds 10mg of THC, roughly double what most hemp-derived seltzers offer, with zero calories, zero carbs and zero sugar. There's no alcohol in it either. The formulation uses specific cannabis strains, described by the company as an indica and sativa hybrid, alongside a proprietary blend of cannabinoids and botanicals. Rebel Coast says its patented process brings onset down to around 15 minutes. Start with less than a full can if 10mg is more than you're used to. 21 and over.
