Clean G

Spencer Matthews started CleanCo in the UK after giving up drinking in his twenties, and the whole range is built on one premise. These are mixers, not sippers. Clean G fills the gin slot, though the label calls it a botanical infused spirit rather than gin, which is the honest description. The botanical list runs juniper, lemon, orange, grapefruit, rosemary and lavender, so the finish lands fruity and herbaceous instead of sharply piney. It pours at 0.0% ABV, sugar free, with no artificial sweeteners, all natural flavorings, vegan and gluten free, and a double measure comes in under six calories. The house serve is two ounces over ice with tonic, a lemon wedge and a sprig of mint. Use it anywhere you would build a tall gin drink. It took Gold at the Great Taste Awards in 2024 and Gold at the International Wine and Spirits Competition the year before.
