Basil and lemongrass are what lift this above an ordinary citrus soda. Tangerine juice leads, peach softens it, lemon keeps the acid up, and the herbs sit behind all of it giving the can an aromatic quality most fruit drinks never bother with. There is a pinch of sea salt in the recipe too, a bartender's trick for making fruit taste more like itself. Mockly makes these in New Orleans with real juice, cane sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Pour it over ice in a rocks glass, garnish with fresh basil and squeeze in a little lime, and it reads as a properly built cocktail rather than something poured from a can. Add an ounce and a half of tequila for the alcoholic version. It is the brightest thing the brand makes and the best daytime option in the range.
