Surreal Brewing
Tammer and Donna are a husband-and-wife team and parents of three who turned their passion for craft beer into a family-run non-alcoholic brewery built on inclusion and community. After a life-changing breast cancer diagnosis and successful treatment, they wanted to celebrate a new chapter with a non-alcoholic craft beer but were disappointed by the limited options available. Feeling excluded from the vibrant craft beer scene, they began homebrewing a bold, complex NA beer they would be proud to share. After nine months, their flagship Chandelier Red IPA launched in June 2018, quickly winning a gold medal at the World Beer Awards and securing national retail distribution. Their beers have since earned multiple prestigious honors, including the 2019 World’s Best Non-Alcoholic and Low-Alcohol Award and several U.S. gold medals. As innovators in the NA craft space, they have introduced category-first styles, from ultra-low-calorie and gluten-reduced brews to the first NA Hazy IPA, Kveik yeast IPA, and Milkshake IPA continually pushing the boundaries of non-alcoholic craft beer.
