Old Milwaukee NA

American Lager 0.5% ABV
Find Near Me

Most of the non-alcoholic beer on shelves today showed up in the last decade. This one didn't. Old Milwaukee traces back to 1849, first brewed by Schlitz in what the brand still calls America's brewing capital, and the NA sits in the lineup right next to the regular American lager and the light version rather than off in some separate wellness aisle. Expect exactly what the name promises. It's an adjunct American lager profile, light bodied and faintly sweet with very little hop bitterness, built to be drunk cold in quantity rather than analysed. If you grew up on this kind of beer it will taste familiar, and that familiarity is the whole pitch. Pabst Brewing Company runs the brand now out of Milwaukee, and Old Milwaukee has collected more than 19 Great American Beer Festival medals across its range over the years. Serve it very cold straight from the can, ideally somewhere with a grill or a fishing rod nearby.
