Montauk Brewing Company began in 2012 as a basement brewing operation among longtime friends and has grown to embody the spirit of the town, first delivering hand-filled kegs on bicycles to a couple of local bars. The brewery says its beers honor an active, adventurous lifestyle alongside the simple pleasures in life. It operates New York's easternmost brewery, the red Brew Barn, located steps from the surf in Montauk, Long Island.
