Open League

Harpoon built this as the alcohol free counterpart to Rec. League, their lo-cal hazy IPA, aimed at the same people who want a beer after a run or a pickup game rather than instead of one. It's a hazy IPA under 0.5% ABV leaning on juicy tropical hop character, and it comes in at 35 calories and 5 carbs per 12 ounces, light even by non-alcoholic standards. Worth knowing before you go hunting for it. Harpoon has moved Open League onto its retired list, so whatever is still on shelves is the last of it. Rec. League remains in the lineup if you want a similar profile and don't mind a small amount of alcohol. Harpoon has brewed in Boston since 1986, started by three friends who came back from Europe wanting better beer and pulled Brewing Permit number 001 in Massachusetts to make it. They also brew in Windsor, Vermont and, since 2025, Manchester, New Hampshire.
