Saka Spark Mimosa

House of Saka came out of Napa Valley with an unusual proposition. Make real wine, take the alcohol out, then infuse what's left with cannabis. The company was founded by Tracey Mason and Cynthia Salarizadeh with an all-women team, and the name comes from the Saka, the Central Asian warrior women who sit behind the Amazon myths. Spark Mimosa applies that method to a brunch drink. The base is alcohol-removed sparkling Chardonnay, infused with a Mimosa strain-specific live resin emulsion and lifted with natural essence of orange blossom and tangerine. It comes as a single-serve 187ml champagne-style bottle carrying a 5mg THC micro-dose, which is a deliberately modest amount rather than a full edible's worth. Serve it very cold in a flute. Adults 21 and over in legal markets only, and never before driving.
