Kiuchi Brewery is a historic Japanese brewer and distiller based in Naka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, with roots dating back to 1823 when it began as a sake and shochu producer. Over its nearly 200-year history, the family-owned company has blended traditional Japanese craftsmanship with innovation, launching its acclaimed Hitachino Nest Beer craft lineup in 1996 and expanding into whisky and other beverages in recent years. Today Kiuchi is known internationally for its distinctive beers, artisanal sake like Kikusakari, its Hinomaru whisky, and other handcrafted drinks, all reflecting a deep respect for quality, heritage, and the rich local land.
